i am already using adsense and now my father also wants to sign up for adsense but we are connecting through cable net which has Static IP address so can he sign up for adsense? and if he can then can he use my refferal link for adsense sign up?
Hmm I have a friend that is using a static ip adsl connection and the two brothers have one adsense account , they never had problems although we expected.Of course there is nothing unnatural , no one clicks the adds etc. But for the referral link , I won't go with it cause it won't be natural.
It may cause a problem.. i think, you should create a channel for your father. even if your ip is not static, it's dangerous to use 2 accounts on the same pc.
Make a channel for him in your own account. Then print out the TOS, sit him down with a cup of coffee, and watch him while reads and re-reads the entire thing.
The best thing is to contact Google. However the Adsense ID will be different so it should not cause any problems.
#1 Contact google and ask them. No one here really knows and listening to them could cost you the $250 referral money. #2 He has a different social security number which is more important than t he I.P. It doesn't matter that he lives in the same house with the same I.P. Ask google before you do anything. A simple to the point email and they should reply soon.
I agree with EaglezEye... It should be fine for him to have his own account as long as he uses his SS#. I would also send an email to G just for good measure. G allowed me to have two accounts as long as they had different tax id numbers (one was personal and one was for my business).
Yes you can as long you don't do invalid clicks after he got approved or things Google make angry, read the Adsense TOS.
Your father can have an account as long as it is in a separate name. You can not use a referral link for him though. Google will look at this as trying to scam them and they may end up banning both accounts. My wife and I both have accounts from the same address and the same computer but we did not refer each other.
