Anyone here survive using mini sites? Just wonder will it work for these days? Any idea? Please comments. Thanks
i don't know much about mini sites, but in the Web several times came across the advantages of mini sites , and its interesting for me, is all about that guys writes the truth?
I created a couple of mini sites (4-5 pages) in January as a test and the ones I was promoting have been on the 1st page for couple of months now. So, it seems they still work, but not sure for how much longer.
There's no reason that mini-sites would stop working all of a sudden. If you're going for search engine rankings then as long as they have good content and lots of links the SE's will love them no matter how big they are. Of course it can help if you build onto your site more, but if it's not necessary then you don't really need to. If you're not going for search traffic, but other sources like affiliates or your own mailing list, then it can help to make mini-sites for your individual products to make them look more professional.
Networks still very much work. You need sites with PR, related content, the backlinks on the sites. Build a few backlinks for them to keep them up in PR.
I've had some mini sites that have basically left untouched for several years, and they still are bringing in money each month, I know I could spend some time an effort to increase the traffic but at this point I don't see a real need to do so
Mini sites do work but it takes lots of work and time like anything else. I have seen many Mini Site courses some are just bogus hogwashes though.
I like minisites. I'm the set and forget kind of dude. I find a niche that interests me, do the keyword and seo stuff and let 'em roll. Post content updates and link rss. Occasionally throw some blog posts their way. Some make $50 others $300 or so a month. Been doing this for six years and add five to 10 sites a year. I lose interest pretty quickly in a subject and move along. But with a reseller account at Hostgator and a couple of others it costs me peanuts for hosting. Got a few mini adsense sites too that folks gave to me. t threw them up and collect a few sheckles every month or so. I have three more on the burner ready to roll out that I picked up here and there from some frustrated designers. They did all the hard work. All I have to do is some keyword research and write stuff the serps lover. Never tried any PLR stuff but I'm sniffing around for just the right PLR niche.
I built a minisite late last year to sell a product I developed, and it actually does pretty well considering that I am not marketing it at all. Google likes it, and I get a lot of organic traffic from them.
My mini sites are still doing well. They are simple to create and can earn you money for years to come
Mini sites require very good marketing skill, if you are good marketer, then you can still survive and make good money
Mini site will work greatly if you have multiple of those sites. For example with one mini site you could earn around $40 per month. How you earn if you start 100 mini sites?
Mini sites mean single affiliate page. They will work but it is hard to get rank because google and other search engines have changed the algo and you much have enough fresh contents.
