hey everyone, I'm building an ecommerce store outside U.S. and it's hard for me to keep a toll free no. on my store, so, i would like to know: 1. do you think that a livechat plug in could be a great replacement for that? 2. or is it better to keep a toll free no. but always transfer it to voice mail? 3. do an ecommerce store without a toll free no. seriously hurt conversion? Really look forward to all of your opinions! Thanks so much in advance! Cheers, Distantship
I think that would be fine. I have an 800 number but that does not mean someone in sweden is going to use it for example. Just make sure there are clear ways to contact you via some sort of live chat like phplive. That stuff is really good. Depending on what your selling some sort of trouble ticket system would work as well for when you are not online. They are pretty easy to come by. hope that helps, Nigel
