I saw a lot of link exchange from Blog to Blog or Website to Website, just one question, by doing this, can our site or blog get banned by Search Engine? Any idea? Thanks
Google will start to get suspicious if it sees the same anchor text paired with the same link 200 times. Mix up your anchor texts and you'll be just fine. Also, don't get a wild number of backlinks at once. If your site is new, never go over 100 backlinks in the first few days. After a couple weeks age, go for 500 in all. After a month or two, about 2,000. Then, the rest is up to you! I'm no expert, but from experience and what I've heard from others this is the formula I've come up with. It works for me.
Chances are your site will lose its ability to pass page rank. Go read through your google webmaster tools. It recommends that you not do excessive link excahnges to boost page rank. A little link exchange is ok, just do not over do it.

So, just don't overdo it and do everything at one time. Just start to work on it slowly and add a little more as time goes on and you will be okay.
No this is not a proper reason for the banned of site. Normally sites are banned because of wrong work or if your link is live with bad links on same page then your site will affected & if you have done enough work beyond the capacity for site means big site or small site.
With my work on link exchanges i have found as long as you only link a reasonable ammount its fine. The more popular website the more links you should exchange but for new websites i personally think dont go over 12. This makes your website look neat as well is a good ammount of outgoing links to begining in.
Yes, i satisfied with your suggestion. When you have less link exchange on sites resource page it looks good & Google also give importance to this page but link is require to related subject but If you have putted any irrelevant link in your site it will be bad for your site. Always do less link exchange but do quality work. But when you do one way link building & you have done more work at a time it means Google will give you negative point because according to Google you are doing marketing of your site & you try to get batter ranking forcefully.
