I have a question regarding On-Page Keywords used in a websites which have similar kind of Keywords to competitor one so it is Legal to use any keywords or do they have have any possibility to get Keywords Registered for specific website.

I am not talking about Branded Keywords!

I'm no lawyer, but as far as I understand it, the answer is no. I don't believe you can copyright a single word, a list, or a recipe either.

Copywrite is automatically owned, you do not "copywrite" something, you simply create it and therefore it is automatically copywrited.

You do not however create single words, you create copy, lists etc. These are copywrited and if someone copies it then you have the possibility of legal redress. Now, if they are "inspired" by your copy and write their own which is different from yours but contains many of the same keywords, bad luck, they have created and copywrited their own copy and it is as protected as yours is.

Back to reality, if your talking about the meta data keyword list I think you will be very hard pressed to actually win any form of legal battle over these.

I am not 1000% sure either way as if you talk about the meta keywords "list" you could argue there is an importance in the words, order, breakup etc and it isn't a simple list of dictionary words in an ad hoc order etc.

I can see it possible to have the rights to a domain name, but not keywords.

A recipe has 'importance in the words', and you can't copyright those either, AFAIK. I could be wrong, but until someone can demonstrate otherwise, I believe that lists can't be copyrighted.
