I have one .in domain, I can't purchase .com domain because someone already purchase it and I also can't use another domain. So can I get high rankings on Google with that domain? If not then what I do? Anyone have any idea about it? Please let me know if anything you know... Thank You
It depends on the quality of your SEO on page / off page work. But it is always recommended to get the ".com" ".org" or ".net" since this are by far the strongest on the web. You could consider using a prefix or sufix in your domain. And just remember that Google has decreased a bit the benefits for the exact domain match (EMD) so concentrate on your content and in quality backlinking.
If you are targeting Indian region then its perfect domain for you. You will get better results in google on both .in and .com. Just go with high quality content and build high quality links.
With .in domain you can rank more high on Google.co.in than to Google.com and also get Indian traffic most.
What scholarsjunction says is correct. If you are targeting an specific country and get a localized domain, then you will certainly have an advantage in that zone
if you get a .in domain, google will naturally think that your site is targeting Indian audience therefore your site will rank better in India. if you are targeting global audience or US audience, its better to get a .com .net domain. if for whatever reason you cannot get any other domain except .in, make sure in your google webmaster tool account, you specify your targeted geography (if you are targeting any other region other than India)

Means can purchasing .com domain of related to niche or company name and redirecting it can work or not? .com domain which I want is already purchased by another user so I can't use it. I think its too difficult to rank faster if you are try to rank up globally. If you want to focus at US location you should have .com domain and also ensure that you are choosing industry specific domain. It will definitely help you to rank faster.
It's not problem .in domain also get high traffic your website. You concentrate to do professional activities on your domain automatically potential customer will come.
