Can Impressions from a program Hurt you?

    I am using a program to optimize one of my sites and I guess it crawls and gets keywords from it to help optimize it and I did not realize this when I ran it the first time and I got 175 impressions when I usually only get like 25 and Im wondering If my account can get banned for this program crawling my site(probably a robot) .

    Anyone know?

    I seriously doubt it so long as the said program isn't clicking ads

    If a program just crawls the site, it wont generate any impression..

    Google does not like auto surf related activity. Even if your software is not clicking ads, it can influence earnings from CPM ads. I would discontinue and contact Adsense directly for their approval.

    @Abhik, he did note it generated 175 impressions when he normally gets 25. So it must load javascript.
