    Consider I would like to advertise a particular product of a merchant. Can I use a picture from his website as an affiliate link in my store? Would that go against CJ terms?

    If you ask their permission they will almost always let you use their material as long as it's for promoting them and you don't use any false information. Just make sure to ask them first.:)
