That's the great idea, but i think that nobody from this forum had tried this, you must email Google.

As long as your website follows the rules of the TOS, I would imagine that Google could care less what kind of browser you view that site with just as long as the browser's code didn't have any fraudulent click logic in it or anything like that. But, just as the others have said, get your answer from the source - from the Adsense team.

i think adsense, only for website to generate, revenue, not for aplication.

maybe adsense for search, like firefox had. lol

but i think you better ask google 1st.

Actually I am thinking about javascript stuff, you know firefox and IE always have cross broswer issues when doing js? that sucks but might be a good way to make money if you forget IE and just tell users to get firefox. That is ... if users are dying to use your javascript app.

    Is this allowed?

dont do that !, i have read somewhere that its not allowed.
You need pre approval before trying that, but, you can mask ur app as IE or FF by simply setting up the user agent :)

You can't add adsense units into applications. Against the TOS.

I was thinking about programs like .. Has anyone played Half Life 2 ? It has launcher with updates and shop, program that looks like a web browser. I think that Google would accept ads on that program, it was just like a web browser.

The adsense would be inside an actualy webpage that can be accessed over the internet and it would be in an Internet Explorer browswer that is embded into an application.
