    I need to verify my paypal account.

    Can i do it with my UBI debit card?

    if not,Please suggest me a way to verify my paypal account.

    No,you can not..As far as I know you only can use ur own CC to verify ur paypal

    If you don't have , you can use your parents' CC.But The name registered on your PayPal account must match the name registered on your bank account.

    As i heard you can verify yourself at paypal using SBI Yuva Card. Search thread in this forum for more info or contact nearest SBI branch.

    Are they still working for anyone?

    indian debit cards will not work with paypal...
    only indian banks credit card works...
    if u don't have a credit card...get yourself a vcc...just google it (will cost $10-$15)

    With the new rules by RBI (about the VbV being mandatory), none of Indian Debit Cards will work.

    SBI Yuva is not working, as already confirmed by SBI Officials.
    Other cards will also be denied because of this Verified by Visa (for VISA cards) and MasterCard Secure Code (for MasterCard debit cards)

    I have Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) Debit Card which is Verified by Visa (Vbv)
    Should it work?

    all debit cards branded with VISA or MasterCard can get the status of VbV or MCSC respectively (process varies according to bank that issues your card)

    However, they'll fail with PayPal, because VbV and MCSC are not supported from PayPal's side..

    Ya. I contacted with the UBI Internet Banking team and they replied that presently their debit card is not compatible for paypal transaction.

    actually no indian debit card will work because of new update from RBI few weeks ago , so only option left is debit card or vcc.

    That's quite miserable...It really means that an average Indian can never reach to the modern methods of marketing and business, only because of the restrictions from their own authorities. Anyway, Paypal team is working on an alternative verification system and we can expect that a positive change in favor of Indians will be there.

    Hey, are you serious that PP is working on the problem faced only by Indians? Will they really amend their way of doing business only because of the guidelines issued by the central bank of India?

    If it comes true.. it will really help the youth of this emerging economy but I doubt whether it will !!!!
