It will be nice to receive advice from you for the following queries regarding using white colour code for text :

1 ) Is it alright to use the white colour code - color="#FFFFFF" for text in <div id="formbox"> ?

2 ) Will search engine see this text in this colour code ? Or it simple treat it as non-existence at all ?

3 ) It is no advisable to use same colour for text as its background colour as it being consider bad for SEO and search engine. Is it alright to use white colour for text with different background colour ?

4 ) Any considerations when come to use color="#FFFFFF" ?

    Thank you.

Well I dont see a problem if you sent a dark background then it should be visible. White color text should still be visible by the search engine though.

yes, and you must on same CSS define clearly note background color and dark color, clearly tell google you are making text readable.

How do you 'tell' Google with CSS the background is a dark colour? I have not heard of this. Does it not already know this?

you can use any color of your choice. white color is fine given that you have a darker background and the text is visible.

regarding your other question, it will be a problem if you use same background color and text color because SEs will know that you are hiding text which is spamming

You can use any type of font color and background color for your site and content. But it is no-no to use same color of text and background.

It will be count as spamming, this will consider as you are trying to cheat Google spider.

If you use white color text to hide the url links, it can be easily spotted by search engine. I've read before on this as it is a violation of webmasters guidelines.
