Can i use VCC for webhosting?

I purchased a $6 value VCC and tried to subscribe for web hosting where the first month is free and thereafter we have to pay $4.99 monthly. But it does not accept the VCC when i entered the VCC numbers. So in case i buy a VCC of $12 value will i succeed in subscribing for web hosting or any hosting site does not accept VCC?

 

well most of them dont accept VCC .. and it depends on ur vcc also .. some are for purchase and some r not

 

you can use the VCC. I think you have problem in holding. you may try, but when the time of renewal, what should you do. I suggest, paypal for this purpose. is a safe to avoid, automatic debit.

 

Ya, you can use it as it works just like a credit card.
And you will need a vcc each month to pay their bills.

I meant to say that the site does not accept the vcc numbers when i entered it and clicked the submit button. I got some mesg like 'i am not authorized to use the card'.

 

I can suggest you a solution, just tell me the country, and the bank. type of card you are now with. its easy solution. no need to trust any one.

 

You can use a VCC anywhere you please, a few exceptions. But if you plan on using the web host for a few months, it may be more easy for you to link it to a normal cc or your PayPal account.

 

Hmm then this might be the problem with your vcc and hosting co. Why dont you use a real cc?
