Can i use US PayPal acc. while i am out of US?

There is some confusion about this question, so i need exact answer.

My friend who lives in USA has premier PayPal acc. in USA with:

1. debit card - veryfied
2. bank acc. - veryfied
3. USA address - veryfied (resident)

Now, he complitly gives me access for making my eBay business and even more he dont use it at all...
But i am concerned about my Serbian (ex Yugoslavia) IP.

I have read many forums (including this) and it is all about limited accounts connected with non US IP.

Is it a problem for opening an US PayPal acc. with other country IP or it is forbiden to use it even it is opened from USA IP and confirmed?

The short answer is YES.

You can access and use a PayPal account from anywhere in the world once verified. BUT I would never myself just lend someone else my account, if PayPal gets wise to unusual activity (A US account being used from other countries a lot) they can pretty much take your money and walk.

More I would NEVER advice anyone to try opening a PayPal from anywhere in the world other than where it is primarily being used. If PayPal finds you trying to 'bend the rules' they will tare you a new one!

I have read somewhere that you cannot use your Paypal account in a country different from where you have actually applied. It is better to mail paypal once before you open it somewhere else.

 

actually you can use it anywhere you want, even if it gets blocked it will be temporary after u use it from your ip but because your account is not fake and is original your friend will be able to verify it and after that you wont hear from paypal again

 

I think that PayPal will limit the account for security reasons since you try to access it from a non US IP, but if it's really urgent you can just give them a call and fix up the issue.

 

I access my account from different countries all the time. So far I haven't had a problem. Knock on wood, I guess.

 

You are lucky one then.

You can't use US PayPal from Serbian IP all the time. If they caught you, then will limit your account and will take the money. Why don't you open yours own separate account?
