Can I use the word 'follow'

I am creating a website where people can track each other or add them in a way that resembles twitter (different overall though).

Is there a legal problem if I use something like 'follow this person' or should I use another word?

Hundreds of sites use the word "follow" in the same way as Twitter does.

Even DP has "followers" and "following" lists.

Why should it be a problem from you? Twitter doesn't own the any trademarks related to "follow".
