Can I use the same description tag?

    Can I use the same description tag for some of my other similar sites. If no please let me know the reason? Please give your valuable suggestion's..

    First of all why do you have duplicate sites.. Google penalize the sites which possess duplicate contents.

    If you have a website then there must be inner pages which will not be same for sure . So why to use same description tag , if you have different information on different pages then ultimately you have to use different description tags

    Don't do that, try to make unique with targeting your keyword.

    NO. Make your content unique otherwise search engines will consider it duplicate & that will certainly effect your PR.

    Ideally, you have to use description tags which are related to your web page... In case you are using same description, you will get duplicate description tag error in Google Webmaster tools.

    Moreover, Google will pick up a relevant snippet from the web page and display it as description for your page.

    It is not good to use the same description tag for more pages,better you need to use unique title, description and keywords for every page.

    According to my experience google will consider you duplicate if you use same description tags.So don't go for that.use unique description tags.

    No Problem with titles, From SEO perspective Description must be different because search engine consider duplicate content. Web content of both websites must be unique...
