    Hi,

Can I use SID if I am not under CJ's Incentive/ Special Program. I included SID in my affiliate links so that I can find out which link convert better. However, I have to indicate that I am under Incentive/ Special program in order to view the performance of links with SID. Can I indicate that I am under the Incentive/Special Program when I am not? Please guide me on these issues.

    Thanks.

No you do not need to be under incentive/special program to use SID.
I see it in my transaction reports.
It might be a bad idea to claim incentive if you are not since some merchants don't allow it.

    Hi,

I cannot find the SID in the reports. Do you mean that it will only appear in Transaction report but not Performance Report? If those affiliate links with SID does not lead to any sales, it will not appear in the report?

Yes, you only see the SID for sales, but other than that, adwords own reports should be enough. Or am I missing something?

I placed links to my blog in the Google Ad as I am not direct linking to advertiser's website. If I can find the SID in the CJ performance report, I can find out if the affiliate links in my blog post get clicked. I am still new in pay per click marketing. Hence, I am not sure if what I am doing is correct. How do you keep track of your click to sale conversion?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

This could be what you're looking for. It explains how to track the keywords users searched for in AdWords and then which of those keywords turned into sales on Commission Junction.
