I want to use paypal as a money holder. If I receive payments from online sources, can i store them as paypal balance and not transferring them to a card, and then use it to buy goods online??
Depends on your country I believe. For PayPal account holders from India, any balance is auto-withdrawn to bank account or card after 24 hours, can't hold balance beyond that. The same rule might be applied to some other countries as well.
Which country are you from? If you're from India, then you can't use PayPal balance You must attach debit/credit card to send money
Yes I am from India, so is there any other way to do it, cause my debit card couldn't get verified by Paypal
Most likely there is no other way. I have only heard but personally never tried this - they say some banks like Axis bank debit cards can be verified in PayPal. See what others have to suggest about it. Try and see if you can apply for any entry level credit card from any bank at all. I know they don't give credit cards easily but you must try. There might be shortcut methods for temporary purposes but in the long run a credit card will be really required and very useful if you're doing any kind of online business that deals with PayPal.
You can't store funds as paypal balance in your indian paypal account as auto withdrawal feature is already there for every indian paypal accounts. DON.
Worst case you can always add a prepaid debit card or netspend card. When i first started out with paypal thats what i did and it worked fine
I was just wondering whether Paypal accepts the Young Stars Account (account for minors by icici bank in India). Also I have a limit of Rs 5000 to withdraw everyday, will that pose as a threat while purchasing products costing more than Rs 5000? Or else I can simply add Rs 5000 everyday till I reach the required amount and store it as paypal credit??
