Can I Use Paypal To pay for an item available at ebay.com?

    Hello everyone,
    I am from india and new to all this,as such i am planning to buy a product from a US registered seller on Ebay.The seller offers payment option as Paypal only.Thus after the recent changes in the Paypal india policies, is there anyway i can buy the product as such because i don't have a credit card and have verified myself using my International Visa Debit card provided by SBI ...

    DON,

    If he verified his account with DEBIT card then I think he can pay using DEBIT. I may be wrong but matter needs to be checked over here.

    Not with debit card but you can surely pay via a Virtual Credit Card generated from a Debit card.
    I have used it on ebay without any problem.

    No Indian paypal now dont allow to send money so you cannot use to buy or pay for any item

    You can pay for the items at ebay. But you need either Credit Card or Virtual Credit Card attached in your PayPal account.

    Thanks everyone for your useful inputs ......... so in conclusion, i'm supposing that i can't pay for the product using my debit card although not that certain because nobody tried to do so and the process needs to be checked as stated by member JoomlaDesigner. Anyhow would you people please through some light as to how could i get a Virtual credit card using my Debit card as stated by member Digital_shubhi for making the purchase.
    And yeah i can't pay via paisapay because as such there is no such option of payment available because the seller is an ebay USA registered member.

    And also guide me as to what would be the customs charges(if applicable) on the purchase, I have tried posting the link to the product but i'm not allowed to do so, so have put in spaces in between the http link so kindly remove the spaces and see the product which i want to buy.

    Hi,

    you have to pay customs on certain goods which you import from other countries, specially electronics. indian users are not allowed to pay for goods using paypal, if you have balance in paypal, it will be directly sent to your bank account and if you dont have bank added in paypal, your money is stuck. better you add a card in your paypal and use to pay on ebay or ask some of your friends to pay and you can repay him in cash.     I have already verified my details using my International VISA debit card on Paypal as already stated in my first post so kindly please specify what kind of card are you referring to ......... ??
