Can I use link to my website on forums ?

Hey all,

Can I use links on sign to my website on any other forums ? Is there any standart about signs on forums regardink to links ?

You can put your links in your signature.
Or just write the URL in some post (mix it with content, etc.)

 

Depends on forum terms. You can use it here and on V7N for sure.

I'd check the rules for each forum you join. In most cases, signature links are allowed, although some forums dislike affiliate links in signatures. Really it varies from forum to forum.

Links in posts are more likely to be frowned upon than links in sigs - but you can get away with it if the link is useful and relevant.

 

Just to let you know even affiliate links are allowed in the signatures here on DP.
Those are prohibited in the posts though

 

Thank you for replies.. I dint mean on here .. I mean in general.. so you say it depends on forum rules.. this forum is very open and democratic

I tryed to post on some forums.. i get visitors from there and some of signed up on my site.. but tehy had edited my signuture there.. But i edited again .. so as edited they changed it again.. at least i get banned from that forum.. i can understand why dont they let links on signture at forum...

 

Well, that's pretty normal.
Read the rules and obey them.
You're "stealing" visitors from them and if you're in the same niche they don't like this obviously
