can i use joomla or wordpress to build a site like these?

hi,

i am new here, and are trying to build my site.
i like the style of these two sites,
travellerspoint.com
travelpod.com

can i use those CMS to build it? or any clues to do that? templates?

You do likely do it with either but Joomla is a bit more suitable for something of that scope, or Drupal even would be a better option. It will take a bit of work though. You would likely need a few paid mods for joomla to handle booking etc.

Easy with modified HBS component in Joomla. That component itself costs around 500$.
