I'm sure they're under copyright, but if anyone has a definitive answer, I found some images on Google Earth that I want to use in a blog.
I wouldn't think it's copyrighted...If your house is on Google earth, how do they have the legal rights to it? Same goes with anything that is publicly visible I would imagine. I could be wrong.
You are wrong. If I take a photo of your house I still own the copyright to the photo. However, a copyright holder can give you permission to use the image, with or without conditions.
