I've seen google ads on most proxy sites too. Are you sure they said no Aligit ?
maybe they said no to the banner ads on the proxy pages when you visit other sites, but I believe you can have them on your home page still.

    cheers

You can have them on your home page; however, you cannot have them on the visited page...Make sense? Like, say you were going to look at Digital Point via a proxy. The page that appears when you look at Digital Point cannot have ads on them.

You can have adsense on any page that has your content to which you are responsible for what they contain.

    Peace,

well they didnt go into much details, but sent them an email asking if i could have it on www.hidemypants.com and/or www.hidemypants.com/myspace.
they got back to me saying no to the proxy but ok to the myspace resource. you might get a different answer from them, or you can take the risk.

for me im just gonna use my adsense on sites that theyve said ok to, that way i have proof if they try to cut me :D

I'm using adsense on my proxies but i NEVER put adsense on the proxified pages.
I asked google about it and they said that putting ads on the home page is allowed but not on the proxified pages. Make sense? :)

Yea from what I've read and seen you can only have adsense on the index page of the proxy site... not the proxied pages themselves.

Google has been actively banning the adsense accounts of many proxy owners. Make sure that your proxy page has some content on it. Even if its just a few paragraphs explaining what a proxy does. Don't just put a bunch of adsense ads and the proxy address bar. However, you can use Adversal ads for the proxified pages, with no problem.

if they say 'no' why take risk. If you still have doubt send them a mail with your url and ask them if its ok.

Yes you can have it on the index page ONLY.

    Proxified pages NO.

If you have seen them on proxified pages maybe you are confusing them with Adbrite ads OR someone is trying to pull a fast one and risking getting their account banned.
