    Hello,

Sorry to be asking this, but I am quiet new and unsure about it so maybe you can quickly clarify me.
I have mp3 files that are free to download on the internet.
my question is: can i use then in my website pages (only for background music and not to sell them) or in some videos i do?

Thanks in a advance for you help.

    Best regards

No, no, no. You cannot use other peoples music as you like.

Sounds and noises are also copyrighted. :)
Of course you have sites where you can download stuff to use, but those sites tell you that you can use the files and the OP would not ask us if he got the files from such sites.

I thought you could stream audio, but not let people download it.

Just like if someone made a video with a song in it and put it on youtube.

I wouldn't do it, especially to post on a website.

But if your website is low traffic, go ahead, no one will find out.

You must have the owners consent before you can do it. Otherwise it's not allowed.
