    Hi
Although I live in a Asia country but i do own a US bank account. When i
register adsense i use my home country address. With that, can i request
my adsense payout to be done through EFT (electronic fund transfer) to
my US bank account instead of receiving a US check from Google which i will be charged a very high commission by my local bank to cash in the check?

If the answer is yes, how do i make the changes ? In my account info page, i
could not change the payment option it to EFT. The option i am given is just payment by check. FYI, i don't have any US valid address to use here.

    pls advice

    thanks
    rgds.. Sean

Well, according to most countries' foreign currency/income rules you are not allowed to have US bank accounts if you are a citizen/resident of a foreign country and are not residing in the US permanently.

You can face some issues with American IRS as well as your own country's income revenue service.

    Be careful.

You can't manually do that. So contact with Google.

he has a us account, so what's wrong with it?

maybe he is a citizen of US, and recently moved back to asia. sounds really probable.

    yes, you are right :)

i think currently i have to stick to getting check from google which is very slow for me to cash in and have to pay high commission fees to my local bank to cash in a US check :(

That's what my friend is gonna do. She is working in asia and has US bank account since she was a student in the states, so she planned to mail back to US and cash in the bank.
