Can I Use ATM Card?

I hate banks (they're scammers, no different than the ones we hear about all the time on the internet), but I recently got an account so that I could use the debit card to enroll in AdCenter. I just got a phone call from my bank saying that they would only give me an ATM card, not a debit card (or "check card"). Can I use an ATM card to enroll in AdCenter?

If not, I guess I'll get a prepaid debit card. That would work, right?

Sounds like you need a debit or checking card or a credit card.

I was looking at getting a prepaid debit card, but they come with so many fees that it doesn't seem worth it. I wanted to try AdCenter because they have the $50 free (after $5 activation fee) promo. After prepaid debit card fees, I'll end up paying almost as much as I save... darn.

I don't have any credit to get a credit card, and, even if I could get one, I still don't one because of the high fees and interest rates.
