I have just sign up for microsoft adcenter program and I want to use affiliate links in compaigns ,can i use it or not ,I want to use it in a manner ,I don't want microsoft to block me.. http://thesisthemetutorial.net
Direct linking is still possible with adcenter but ideally you should avoid it & build LP.. helps in long term
I suggest you cloak your links anyway but if you are promoting clickbank products they have to be really, really good & use must use highly specific keywords. {TIP: Never use the word FREE!} -Robbie
I am wondering the same thing is it possible to still direct link on Adcenter? I heard through another forum they have been cracking down but no one gave specific details.
@Girithara: what do you mean by only for new account? is the same rule applied to old and new accout on msn adcenter?
adCenter has changed alot like google they are using quality score for keyword, adcopy and landing page, they are checking relevance for all these items. If your affiliate has all these three relevancy in their landing page then there is no problem or else the quality score will be very low and there is a chance to ban your account for violating their policies(adcenter).
Adcenter and Adwords have no problem with direct linking as long as the landing page follows their rules.
Direct linking is still possible but if you are promoting affiliate offers you basically need to be the first person to have EVER advertised the page or they (Google/Bing) will likely not approve your offer. For these networks, if you have the ability to, you should look into creating a landing page to ensure that you can advertise. Best of luck, 7searchGuys
Direct linking used to be easier on adcenter, but has gotten more difficult. A simple landing page now usually gets the job done for me.
Read up on pre-selling and incorporate that process into your landing page. Doesn't take long to make a good lander and your conversions will improve.
