I wonder can I send traffic directory though google adwords to cj advertiser? For example, I found an advertiser on CJ, and I apply to get a link such as appzz.com/dsdfxcxv-dgdvbcxbc and place the url on my adwords so visitors click on the link will go directly into the landing page?

I'm newbie in adwords hope everyone who familiar on adwords can give me some guide.

yes just use your affiliate link as the destination URL.

However, if the advertiser's landing page lacks text you will likely be hit with high minimum bids from Google.

Google only allows 1 identical url per keyword. If you are direct linking and someone else is advertising that same page either the advertiser or another affiliate it will not work. Even though your link might look unique Google will catch on soon. It could be worth a try to test the market but will not last forever.

The other thing you should also check is if the merchant will permit you to do that - some merchants state in their terms that you can not link directly to their site in search engines. Additionally, there may also be some guidelines on what terms you can use in your ad and your search terms - typically with the merchants that I work with, you can not use their name in your ad. Good luck!

Read the keyword link. Odds are, you'll have to send to your own landing page first, as most merchants don't allow you to use their visible.

Some folks advocate using 3rd party services like clickaudit to redirect to an affiliate vendors page.

I prefer to buy a domain name and direct to either my own capture page, or directly to affiliate page.

What is the preferences with you guys and gals here?

I started trying this out on adwords and quickly gained two sales, then my keyword cost sky rocketed and it became pointless. SO I have recently gone over to Microsoft ad centre and am testing them out. They are much cheaper but no sales yet, however like I said I have only just started.

I managed to get a UK £50 voucher so I have some time and money to play with.

direct linking is allowed, just make sure the display URL is the same as the landing page, not the same as the redirect.

Also make sure the advertiser allows direct linking, otherwise you could end up forfeiting any commissions earned

I have been doing this for years, and am doing it today, so nobody can say anything against it.

    Hey Robert,

I have just started experimenting with it and am having a hard time working out the system and the best way to approach it. I know I am theoretically the competition but.... do you have any tips for a newbie and which PPC program do you have most luck with?

    Cheers.

Google will disallow the ad if the destination url is different from the url that the user sees...You are allowed sub domain urls...if you see a good potential for the advertiser i suggest you look at making a one page site of your own with relevant keywords. This will be more targeted and will alsoensure you low bids

    Thanks Robert,

@zk5182, I think you can have an affiliate hoplink in Google as long as the landing page is a sub domain of the display name. It has been working for me.
