Can I use Adwords for affiliate link?

I want to advertise the affiliate link of hostgator. Is it right to do using adwords?

I think you can use it... if the destination URL and the display url is from the same domain.

but you need to ask hostgator that does it allows direct linking through search marketing campaigns

No you can't just link to the affiliate link. Create a mini site with useful information and promote hostgator through it.....you have to convince Google that you website is offering extra value to their users....

YES, you CAN. You don't need to create your own site. Just as long as the landing page follows all the Adwords rules. So I suggest you know those rules and that your affiliate doesn't break any of them. Otherwise, you will get suspended until you fix the problem. As you would not be in control of that page, that would be hard to fix, an advantage of having your own site. And if you have too many violations, then they ban your account.

Of course, the affiliate has some say too. They could disallow using pay-per-click so you should read their rules as well.

You want to promote hostgator? I checked their home page. I see no problems there as far as Adwords is concerned. Of course, it's their current page but I would not anticipate them to change in a way that would go against Adwords rules. The only problem with these services is that the competition is fierce and the CPCs are high whether your direct link or not.

 

Yes, the Google Adsense TOS say you must not. They will ban you.

And my tip: you can build free blog on blogger and write some posts about your topic.
After that you can buy some domain (.info are cheap).
Put that blogger url on your domain (redirection).
And after Google approve your blog you can change link on your domain and use affiliate link.

add affiliate links within posts, with convincing anchor text
