Can I use a subdomain for my Wordpress blog?

    Ok Internet marketers, I have this quesion about Wordpress blogs.

    Can I use a sub domain as my wordpress blog? eg if my domain is www.domain.com, can I create a subdomain such as www.sub.domain.com and use for wordpress?

    Yes,of course you can. But if you want to make it more popular, you'd better use TLD.
    Although the subdomain is free, compared to the TLD,it's not the best choice,I think.

    You can. Also, choice of creating sub domains is good in case you have sub domain content linked to main domain content eg. lifeinsurance.valuableinsurance.info, autoinsurance.valuableinsurance.info, etc. Here it makes sense. But if you are looking for a sub domain for different topic altogether then it's better that you use separate Top Level domain preferable .com domains.

    Of course you can do that. Create a folder in your root and then install wordpress in that folder. Create a sub domain and assign that to that folder. You are done. For other tips related to Wordpress, you can browse Internet Techies.

    Yes most companies install Wordpress blogs on a subdomin . So if you install via Fantastico auto installer in cPanel ,your sub domain will look like www.yourdomain.com/blog

    Not just only one, you can use many sub-domains and point them to your Wordpress blog.
