    My website has 200,000 webpages.
I would like to upload all of them to the hosting under public_html
I do not use sub directory.
Can I make sever down or slow?

As longas the pages don't total over your webspace limit, or they're not full of pure images that'll dent your bandwidth. But besides that everything should work fine! :)

Wouldn't like to have to scroll through the list myself, but it's fine, I've had over 150k files in a cache directory before.

It will be fine but editing a file will take time because you won't find it easy and FTP programs truncate file list for 1k or 2k

I'm amazed how did you make a static site of 200k pages - why is mysql used for ?

Yeah, you don't need a subdomain or anything. You can upload as many pages as you want, but it may be very unorganized, etc.

Also, make sure you have the space like others are saying.

I'm also curious though...what exactly is it? :-p

you can upload as many files you want,

It is better to upload as Zip file to the server and then unzip it within the server, using cPanel file browser or using ssh command "unzip"

you can but there are serious reasons to rethink your policy of NO subfolders

    1.
each file needs to have unique name
    2.
for SEO and logical maintenance it is better to have a SE friendly filename and folder/subfolder-name structure relevant to each file-topic main keyword
    3.
creating a subfolder system makes it easy to mentally keep track of your site at any given time

always keep in mind that HUGE sites and global leaders such as google MAY have a reason to have subfolder structure such as /adsense / adwords ... etc
to learn from more experience major sites never hurts but often benefits

i have currently some 70'000 files and that number grows weekly/daily and works fine for me - i have a simple keyword oriented subfolder structure that lets me track my site even in my mind - since sites are created - the start of all is the mind of its creator
