I would be really careful with the sedo free appraisals. They're completely automated and don't always seem accurate to me.

If you want a fairly accurate free appraisal check out http://estibot.com.
If you want a affordable premium appraisal check out http://midflux.com

I would not trust the Sedo appraisals. Everything I have read about them has indicated that they are highly inaccurate, even more so than some other free appraisal websites/softwares. They want you to try and sell for the highest price so they can get more commission lol ;)

thanks..i never try midflux, normally use estibot.

But i always sold domains far cheaper than estibot appraised..
because all my buyers never care estibot appraisals..
(maybe they will trust sedo because sedo is more popular than estibot)

    oh really!
maybe sedo want their customer to use their paid appraisal also?!!

the real goal IMO is to get a domain listed for sale on their site period. They interest you with a higher appraised price but all they want is to fill their marketplace to get *some* piece of any action

There is no such thing as an accurate automated appraisal. They are all junk.

    yup, that's not impossible..

i'm not sure the the normal sedo appraisal is related to its free appraisal..
    for example:
if esines.com - $500 to $999 appraised, how about the normal sedo appraisal? is it within $500 to $999, or not?

I don't think it is worth anything close to that, but I've tested the automated appraisals on a domain that had a private sale in the mid six figures. I didn't get a single automated appraisal over $1,000.

Completely ignore those appraisals - especially on non-word domains. A domain is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.

You can't trust ANY free appraisal. If it's not appraised by a human being who is in the field, then it is worthless.
