    They have to have it to open your account, do you think Larry and Sergey are going to use it to deduct money out of your bank account or steal your identity? They don't need the money, you need some though :p

    Hell no they will not sell it, they use it to comply with government tax laws when they report how much they paid you to the IRS and they already have your number.

    You can always incorporate and use a Federal Tax ID number if you are scared. :eek:

    I wouldn't worry about Google. You can mail it to G. That is safer the send it over the internet.
