    Yes you can... Exchange Rate USD 1.00 = INR 45.6103, I think you can use PayPal for transfer.

    If she has no paypal just go and register to Xoom and follow the procedures in sending money to your friend. I have remembered it isnt that hard as long as you create some account in Xoom coz they have instructions on how to send money

    yes you can transfer ya XOOM.
    There are many methods to transfer funds .. but i suggest to use other paypal alternatives like webmoney,LR,moneybookers,etc.,
