Can i take legal action against bux.to?

I have $1600 in my bux.to account. Last year, in JUNE, i made a request to withdraw $50. I waited a few weeks and nothing, so i sent an email to thier support. They said please kindly wait as they have loads to process.

I forgot about it and ive just come back to bux.to realising that my account still was in pending mode after nearly a YEAR!

I made a request to withdraw 999 today and i;ve just sent a email to thier support team.

How can i go about this as i live in the United Kingdom? Perhaps report them to Trading Standards? Or to court?

    Short answer = yes.

you can take legal action against anyone, for anything.

I could sue you for using small case 'i' when you mean 'I' if I wanted to.

Whether I can WIN it is of course another matter.

    @ ContentBoss:

    Lol your probably American :p

American people can sue companies for selling HOT coffee without the cup saying the content is hot.

American people can sue the architects when someone falls off a building :p

( These things are possible in every country, but will never lead to succes by any chance ).
Just letting you know that the American constitution has different laws !

bux sites are schemes. I think of them as ponzi schemes. Think about it, a bux site is paying someone to click on other websites...
are you serious...people are not clicking because they are interested, they are clicking in the hopes they will get paid, and the
only way a bux site can continue is to run out and find advertisers and that pretty much helps pay for the ponzi, if it is popular.
I would be very shocked if they ever paid you anything. The only reason that I think bux.to has existed so long is because they
have become very popular, and a popular ponzi scheme could take a while to fold if no one really does anything about it...at
some point the advertiser that gets sucked into the bux figures out that his ads are not paying off, the funds get slim, and they
may even use your funds that you have made to advertise their own site to bring in more potential victims. There is no high
success rate for advertisers, so there is no real reason for them to stick around, and the bux site will prey on new advertisers
that have never advertised on bux sites or do not know much about them. If you did your google research, then you would stay away.
If bux.to gave up all their loot that they actually may owe to people, then I would bet that they would pretty much be under-water, if
they did pay you, then they would be pay you from someone else's account to keep you from crying, aka ponzi scheme....

as the post above said...you can sue for getting hit by a rain drop...This would be considered small claims court...and so what,
they do not show for the case, you win...now what? They couldnt get money from OJ for years, and he had lots...what you
are looking to sue is small fry, even if you win, no one can force them to pay up if they do not want too...If I owed a hospital
$1600 and I did not pay...what do you think they can really do? They could take me to small claims, but even if they win
and I am sure they will...small claims civil matters are not really enforceable...the hospital will send me to collections...
whew-who...how many compaines take people to collections daily and never get a dime? pretty much end of story....

and even if you looked for an atty, he is going to look at this and laugh, his starting fees could easily add up to $2,000
so the atty knows right off the bat there is going to be no money in this for him in the end, not over $1600 anyway....
and in case some do not know, atty's get around $200+ an hour...lets say you do find a nut atty to take your case, this is
still small claims court, so by now your atty will not take this case free, he has by now soaked you out of $2,000 over a
$1600., ok now what? You get to court, you win the case, now what, same as above, before you did not have the atty,
now you just spent $2,000 maybe even more, now you are in the same situation...bux site still isnt going to pay...

I think by now you are smart enough to figure out where this is going...pretty much no where.

but stranger things have happened, you could get lucky and the bux site end up paying you., but
after a year, I think that dream has pretty much dissolved in water already, and I think you know that too.

yeah, but it probably wouldn't be worth your time. I am owed like $1,200 by a company, but they went bankrupt and have much larger debts than what they owe me. Therefore, the bigger fish get paid first. Sucks. Sorry to hear of your loss.
