Can I sue someone in China?

I just saw some chinese guy having warez (or something) site, with my commercial script on it... OF course, free download and stuff...

I checked whois, and the site is hosted somewhere in China. The Ming-Ling-Ho or whoever hosts the site is having some other scripts available to download besides mine.

Is there anything I can do? "send him an email" is really not an option, we all know...

    Any advice?

Don't want to use this forum for marketing purposes. Can I send you PM? I can give the link to this website, you'll see mine script together with few more... I'm just not sure it's wise to reveal this warez site here...

If the host is in China I doubt much would be done.

Unless your damages are in the hundreds of thousands it's just not worth doing. Probably can't track him down, so you'd have to go after the host. That is likely owned by or at least related to the Chinese government, which means that you'd have all kinds of extremely complicated issues involved (search for "sovereign immunity"). That means expensive lawyers, and also a tough time collecting anything.

link for livehelp or support sorry can't read it, or at least appears to be so ;) wish you luck. Had companies from China steal my designs on items before as well, not much you can do though unfortunately.
