Hi to all DP entrepreneurs, I am Ashok.

I am having a very high intension to achieve success in business. Here is my business plan.

    1. As a first step to achieve my success i started a forum.

    2. My next step is to enter into ebay business ( dropshipping )

    3. Then importing products from different countries and sell in ebay and in my websites ( not dropshipping )

4.Then manufacture my own products and selling that over online.

    5. Getting lots of dealers from different countries from online sales, to run my business offline.

    6. Starting a Multimedia Industry ( My Favorite ), then some more industries.

This is my business plan. What are you thinking about my business plan. If it is good or want to change something. Now i am in 1 place. How long it will take to reach 6 place. My plan is to achieve 6 place within 2 years from now. Can I ? Need advice please.

Can you? Well, how on earth are we meant to know?! :D
If you want to know whether you can start a business, then, yes, you can, there's nothing stopping you. If you want to know whether you can start a successful business, then it's purely down to you: what experience do you have? How do you intend to put your plans into action? Have you only thought about what you want to do, or have you planned out how you're going to do it?

And, also, why not just start at 6?

You can succeed if you develop a thick skin, learn, and never give up.

And miss out 1 - 5 and go straight for what you want.

    Thanks, I won't give up.
I started a forum to create a small community.

I too have chosen offline, because i am going to sell products which we can't sell through online.

Well, forums aren't exactly the best place to start. They cost a lot to set up and make successful, and then when they are successful they still don't make you that much unless it's a HUGE forum. They take a lot of effort to get off the ground and then you have to moderate them and so on.

If the forum reached some good position then there will be no work in that. The community grows automatically, even it is not necessary for me to watch and maintain the forum everyday. So only i have selected the forum. And also it is the easy thing to form the community from forum other than social networking.

Trust me, if the forum gets big, not only will you need to watch the forum daily (or every hour practically), but you'll also need to get other people to help you, which would probably cut into your profits. The bigger your forum gets, the more open it gets to spam posts and the similar.

In my opinion, don't bother with communities, as, unless you get really big, there's hardly any money in it for the effort you need to invest to make the site(s) successful.

Start off with something like a blog, especially if this is your first online venture. Read around DP and learn a bit about online business tips before actually jumping in at the deep end.

    BTW, in your reply here:

What product is this? To be honest, you can sell anything online...

Then why not carry on? Expand your network a bit, more blogs = more money. It'll be just as easy to run as a forum but the return will be much greater, and you'll be able to have days off etc, whereas on a forum you have to moderate everyday to reduce spam.

You can sell them online. Look at e-commerce solutions (free) such as OsCommerce, Magneto etc.

I think i can't make more by selling these products online. Because Mops, broom sticks are easily available in all stores.
And also there are very very less no. of products like mops and curtains in ebay.

Why not sell them on ebay then? Ebay is a great resource for internet businesses as it is so accessible. If you can become the dominant seller in a niche like home cleaning products, then you're definately in for a lot of money.

And, by the way, anything and everything sells online. You could make an online store and still make money from it: people are moving more online everyday, people even buy items like food online, purely because they're too lazy to go to the store, so they would definately buy cleaning products. :)

Just remember, most plans fail, because the one doing the plan, fails to follow thru with the plan. Just keep focused and enthused,

    Good Luck

I do suggest you start one project at each time coz you need to focus on it.
Well i'm using dropshipperpro.com since last june and its good.
Yes you can maximize your ebay earning by mixing dropshipping and your own product.
