Can I submit same article with several article directories?

    Hey Guys, I am new to article marketing. I am planning to submit one article at ezine to see how things go, and if I can gain some traffic and backlinks. I have never submitted an article before in ezine or in other directories. My question is, can i submit the same article that I wrote for ezine to other article directories also? Or, that would be considered as duplicate content? Any kind of advice would be greatly appreciated!

    You can but it will be considered duplicate content and Google will only credit the site it caches/indexes first; basically the backlinks on the other site won't count for anything. Your best bet is to spin the article or create a unique one for each specific directory.
    Duplicate content = bad, unique content = good

    If you submit the article to ezinearticle first, you won't have any problem. They check for duplicated content and you won't be able to submit crap to their directory.
    However, once they publish your article you get it and submit to at least 10 different directories. That's what I do and it works pretty good.

    Thanks for the advice! Still confused, though! Did you mean you can submit the same exact article that has been accepted by ezine to other directories? Won't you get penalized for that?

    Bottom line...submit an article to EZA (EZineArticles). If you want to submit another article - make sure you spin the article very well. Duplicate will not hurt your site but will index only one article.

    Yes, there will be no problem about that Google will count those backlinks.

    ya you can submit the same article to various directories but I am also agree with SCLocal as Google not gonna give you credit for that,

    I never tried but I have saw people,submitting same article to different directories.They said to me they didn't faced any problem,when i asked.So go ahead and submit articles to gain backlinks and traffic.;)

    No problem at all. You can even submit the same article to 100 article directory.

    The more you submit the same article different site the less valuable it's going to get.
    But
    If you only care about backlinks then submit them to as many as you want but link quality will be depreciated.
