Can I submit BACKLINKS for my new website? Urgent please

Greetings,

I registered a domain in First week of June, this year. I have done a good SEO on it and I can see my website on Google's page 4, on the keyword I searched.

I want to create backlinks, Can I submit my site to Social Bookmarking, Networks, Webs, Forums and Blogs?
I see people with new domain doing this and their website are coming in Top ranks.

But, What should I do? Can I make backlinks or not? Looking for urgent replies as I am running out of time.
I am having a deadline of 2 weeks to pull this website up in top ranks and complete the task.

If your website is well-optimized, it's about time to get some links. Try to get some authority links and don't forget to use multiple anchors.

 

Ya You should start getting backlinks but form good PR sites. Don't go for over optimization.

 

Of course you can start that work as soon as possible..

 

Even you can start commenting on blog posts like http://www.letternote.com/blog/ .

It really depends on your subject matter. You want to place backlinks on sites that relate to your content.
