    Hi everybody,

I notice in a lot of articles etc the magic words that to get good PR that you need over one hundred backlinks to your site.

Is this true? or am I going up the wrong garden path with this and you can actually get good pr with a lower number of high quality links.

    Thanks in advance.

The more inbound links you can get, the better. I'm not sure 100 is the magic number, as it varies among sites, and really nobody knows except Google.

So I would try to get as many inbound links as possible, but I'm not sure about getting 100 of them.

I think a big part of has more to do with the quality of the backlinks than the number. 100 backlinks from PR 0 probably won't do nearly as much as just a few from PR6 or PR7 sites.

    Hopefully this is the case.
otherwise I'm going to go broke if I have to purchase over 100 good PR one way links.
    Thanks for the advice.
    Cheers.
