    Hi,

Right now I'm blogging in blogspot platform http://brainstormhut.blogspot.in/. And recently i bought a .com domain name as well. I know it's possible to change this blogpsot blog to .com domain free of cost. Let me know the same thing is applicable with a wordpress blog as well. If yes, please explain how it can be done.

    Regards,
    Varghese

You can redirect your .com domain to your blogspot url, if you use masked method it can appear to the visitor that the site is builded on your .com site. But in that way your the site is always on .com and will never pass url parameters like .com/post-name-sample

If the site has even a little bit value towards your life, consider making a decent self host wordpress blog :) you then have all the freedom to do anything (i mean anything) you want.

    I have a easy tutorial here: http://www.websitebuildingtutorial.com/register-domain-name-setup-hosting-content-management-system/

If you have a domain and you want to use the Blogspot platform you do not really need to have hosting because Google can actually host all of your pictures stuff. I do not know if they can host your files however. All you need to do is convert the blogspot domain name to the .com domain that you have through the Blogger settings.
