i have used novel books on my hand and i want to sell it on amazon is it legal to sell ? or i get sue from the author or distributor ? one more question can i print my own book and sell it on amazon ? there is any law or anything i want to do before i print my books/sell on amazon ?
You can sell used books as used books, not as new books. For example, first one on the list when I searched for "used books" is this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-lis...1_1_olp?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1488815054&sr=1-1 You can see there are 2 "used" offers there. Selling your own books on Amazon (that you write and therefore own the copyright for) is perfectly legal: that's what they do. You can print them yourself or use CreateSpace and/or KDP to create paperback print-on-demand and Kindle books (respectively), complete with ISBN numbers and everything else - for free.
hey i have doubt . selling used book get any copyright or other issues ? and do you know kdp will automatically make a papercopy for ebook ?
I don't know the legal implications of selling second-hand books. I suspect it's fine, given how many places do it, but you'd have to ask in the legal forum and read Amazon's TOS. KDP is Kindle publishing, not paperback. CreateSpace does the paperbacks. CS is connected to Amazon - it's their POD service - so there's no complications there.
i contacted amazon now they are giving the permission only for those who have more than 1000 books . they can only sell used books
Which means that if you only sell a few books because you can't use them anymore, Amazon is not the right place to do it. If you live in US, try LetGo.
Sorry to say, but it doesn't matter if it's the most popular outlet if they won't let you sell there. Have you tried listing them individually on eBay?
