I really need to take the next couple of months off from clickbank for my school work etc. The site itself has made me around $1700 in the past 5-6 months, has about 14 pages of content, 5 of which are review pages (non-unique straight from the publisher), 9 content pages around 4 unique 5 plr content. What I was wondering is could i sell my main income site even though the majority of the traffic is coming from articles? And if so what could I be looking to get?
Try sitepoint.com to sell your site. If the revenue & traffic is stable these 6 months you can sell it for 2k-3k there. Of course you must ensure that the articles will still point to the site after the sale.
You think ill still get that type of money even though the traffic comes from articles? (ie the traffic trails down after a few days of no articles)
If you're able to make sales through articles, then theres definitely other means in which you can make sales as well..
i think he wants to know because his articles create his traffic (and with articles you need to keep making more and more to see the same traffic) would people still buy his site off him?
Yes, people will still buy your site regardless of how you promote it. You may want to consider giving them a few articles for them to post or add to the site this provides added value and will increase your sale price. While Sitepoint is usually the best, it depends on your niche some sites sell better on eBay Do some research before selling this will ensure that you get the value you deserve.
yeah inmy site most of my trafic comes from articles and people have pfered to buy it for a really nice amount!! so try!!
