I don't think Google will go that far. They should atleast refund a percentage of the money he paid for the domain via PayPal or something.

Thats a great name. But and I say but thats has a google trademark it can be looked at copyrite infridgement. They can take you to court. I remember a case in another forum a guy had classmates in his domain, and classmates took him to court and was sued for x amount of dollars for copyrite infridgement and his site had nothing to do about clasmates just that it was part of his domain.

HMM truely says, i will use googlevalley.com for my site . if godaddy.com transfer my domain to google.com without my permission then i will sue godaddy.com :D and if google contact me for the domain then i will ask for my cost + penelty for late reply :D

if they sue me then i nothing have to loose. google have to pay to its lawyer, i don;t even hire a lawyer,

Google will not contact you as long as the domain is not popular and when once business picks up for the domain, you will probably receive a legal notice from the big G...

I would rather suggest that you wait for Google's reply for a week or so and then if you don't get any replies from them, sell it off to some1 else

Why will google buy your name

If thats the case then no one will ever be poor in the world

Everyone here will be rich enuf to buy a BMW

think logically, GOogle is not a domain seller or buyer

Its a web development company and it only deals with domains that are earning in millions of dollars a year

This is dumb, it's just like if someone bought chunnumunnu.com cause they knew you wanted it and then tried to sell you it for 100x's the registrar price..

Odds are pretty good that Google does not care even a little bit about your domain. If they did they'd already have bought it. You can use it for whatever you want and as long as it does not impact the Google businesses or profits you will never even hear from them.

Google can just take the domain from you. It has happened a few times already, courts are siding with the big trademarked companies. If you are using their trademark name, they can just request the domain from your registrar. I am sure if they wanted GoogleValley they would have snapped it up but I am also sure they don't want people just using their trademark name. They cannot possibly buy every single combination of Google domains no matter how good or stupid the name may be, but they can make sure you won't profit from it either.

Your name is not something they will be interested in just cause it says Google man. Seriously no disrespect intended but common sense has to be used. Domain buying isn't that simple lol. You take a HUGE companies trademark name and add "valley" or any other extension and BAM your rich!!!! NOT!

if google wanted to, they could take you to court, and actually get the domain handed over to them, but it's probably small game to them... i'd imagine they have all the domains they want for now

You're a complete moron. Read the millions of domain copyright threads. You'll get sued or they'll steal it from you. You won't get any registration money back, especially not $15 (which is more then you bought it for).

You have nothing to lose, the worst is behind you [6 $ :D] , now you can only win. My suggestion, keep the domain. Even in case you get sued, you will earn a lot of publicity.
