Hello, my dear friends! I live in Ukraine and i make amazing home wine (not from grapes). A few times ago i wanted to try selling my home wine to other countries. In a little quantity, of course. The problem with PayPal is known for me. And how about shipping? Will be any problems with shipping companies to delivery liquid in the bottles? Are there any legal barriers in world law? Thanks a lot!
Selling alcohol in the U.S. is very complicated. Shipping it across state lines is even more complicated. You must be licensed, among other things. I suspect that shipping alcohol internationally is even more complicated/regulated. You would really need the guidance of an experienced attorney to sell it here.
Because your country Ukraine is not a part from the European Union you can't ship your wine in European countries. If your country was a part of the european union that would be more easy because there are no borders to pass in the european union so there are no controls on the goods. So, you can't sell in countries outside Europe, you can't sell in Europe so you can only sell your wine in your country. That would be the best thing to do, because if you try to ship your wine in other country you can face with some legal issues.
