Please I would like to know the real fact, I have been seeing some guys selling .pdf e-books on eBay. I just want to know your opinions if they are now allowing digital product sales.
I think you can sell everything what you want if it is legal. Another thing whether it is profitable or not.
There is a way to sell them on ebay. But you must remember that there is no protection for you if you sell a digital book. Paypal and Ebay only offer protection for Physical Shipped goods, not digital. So if you are selling it for more than $1 in my opinion and research it would be a very bad idea. I see a lot of them offering a cd for an extra charge and free shipping on the digital format via email. I am not sure What all the possibilities are if you do do it but just don't expect to make a lot with it.
It is against eBay rules to sell products that are digitally delivered. You can put the eBook onto a CD and post it to any buyers, that is allowed.
You can sell Ebooks on Ebay. However do not expect for them to sell for what they would if you were to have your own site and sell them through Ebay. I have seen items which people sell through Clickbank for around $30 sell for $5 on Ebay. Also on Ebay you are not able to sell digital products where you email the product to the buyer or send them a link. You HAVE to physically send the item in the post therefore costing you more money on shipping etc
I would recommended using a CD as delivery option, that way, you have the "Seller Protection Policy" covered and comply to ebay TOS as well.
Yes you can. I finally looked into it and listed one I wrote in 15 minutes and is has been selling! Best part is Ill get a referral for a program i use each time someone follows its steps. Here is how you can list one: You will need to list it in a correct category which is incredibly difficult to figure out. So here is the easy work around. Just search for a PDF ebook on Ebay and open up the search result. Then click the "Sell One Like This" link on that listing. It should allow you to post one from there. Enjoy.
eBay allowed digital products in the past. There were a lot of problems and they changed their policy. As someone mentioned above, you can sell them on a CD. Check with their TOS before you put up an auction.
You cant sell digital products on Ebay. Now with my luck, I have sold digital stuff before such as accounts and cd keys. But mainly, they take all listings pointing to digital delivery. However if you dont hint thats its digitally delivered, you might have more luck.
Exactly! eBay is a dead market for books. Amazon is the largest bookseller in the world. The fifth largest search engine. Here too, you need to learn how to sell there. You have two markets...Kindle and paperback books or Create Space. You cannot just slap up a PLR (Private Label Rights) book you bought somewhere and hope it sells. You'll get your account banned. Try the Warrior Forum for trainings on how and what to sell there. Kindle is a huge market and growing. Try products by John H Rhodes and Jay Boyer. Or Amy Harrop and Deborah Drum. James Jones puts out good products too. All excellent trainers in the Amazon Market. BTW I don't get anything for referring anyone to them in case anyone is wondering. I've purchased many products from these folks and they're all very good. Enough said. It's easy. Just get some training before you start. You can make money there and...it takes marketing and time so be patient. Good luck!
