Hello, Hope you are doing well today, I just wana ask as there are many people who dont know how to give repute to someone, so can i mention some thing like " Press repute button if i deserve" in my thread(s) or post(s) ?
You may not request rep in your threads/posts. If members see you are helpful and contributing to the forum they will reward you with rep.
I think hes kind of asking for those that don't know how to do it. I haven't looked but could he put it in his sig? Say like if you found my thread helpful hit the Star int he lower left corner of my post or something?
The posts are deleted and the funny thing is that in the reputation FAQ the op asks for repuation in the end
I wouldn’t worry too much about other people knowing about reputation or not. You will gain more points from members that do know. Thanks Brian
Then again, you're still asking them to give you reputations in the end no matter how you phrased the sentence.
See your quote above you. It's like what the other have said, don't bother much about it and if people will find your post helpful, they'll give you a rep for it. As for teaching people, we have a sticky for it so they can read about it. Just don't say or even ask that "If you find this helpful, kindly give me a rep blah blah blah."
I was not meant to ask for reputation by starting this thread- i just used that line to know from mods if its allowed.
Well I think he is not asking for reputation at all. You can see that words are inside " and ". So it is clear, he mentioned that sentence to ask that he can use that words in the thread and post or not.
