    youtub would probably be considered a trademark infrigement by YouTube. Not sure about Yahoo, but it is also against YouTube's Terms of Service to maintain a site that hosts or displays their videos if your site in anyway makes a *penny* of profit. They have gone after some sites, and others that have left alone. I would bet that if your site became big enough and starting attracting mainstream attention, that they would would be knocking on your virtual domain door soon enough.

    Prohibited commercial uses do not include:

    * uploading an original video to YouTube, or maintaining an original channel on YouTube, to promote your business or artistic enterprise;
    * using the Embeddable Player to show YouTube videos on an ad-enabled blog or website, provided the primary purpose of using the Embeddable Player is not to gain advertising revenue or compete with YouTube;

    Correct. And its also a fine line between what YT considers "gaining advertsing revenue and competing". I cannot remember the name of the company they recently shutdown. I don't even think that company was running ads. They just became very popular showing the "top" 10 or 20 or so videos using the embedded player on their site. Once they started getting mainstream attention, YT stepped in and shut them down for "competing" with them.

    Also, if you try saying "im not trying to compete" try proving that to YT
