    Hi,

As I posted earlier, I can't access my own blog anymore. I'm 99% sure this is following installing the AskApache WP plugin. This plugin probably change my htaccess file.

Now I'm not familiar with it. Is there a way to reset it without losing/ messing up my blog?

    Thanks

well you can disable the plugin by just changing the name and then try to get access.

so does the blog resolve or its you just cant login with password?

Nope, still doesn't work. At this stage, I don't even understand this plugin.

    It modifies two files:

    - Root .htaccess
    - .htpasswda1

    That's about all I know.

    EDIT:

If I try to desactivate the plugin from my admin (that I'm currently accessing through a proxy), I get the following error:

Your attempt to deactivate this plugin: "" has failed.

Download the files to have a backup and try to simply delete them. This way the plugin is disabled. You could also try to chmod the files to 000 so they dont work. Otherwise your host would be able to delete them from root if you can't.
