can i replace google adsense code

i have problem to put adsense code in my new blogger. code with <!-- --> can't appear in the new blogger. can i replace them with &lt; and &gt; ? (<!-- with &lt; and --> with &gt

 

Of course you can but you'd be breaking the TOS.

I am sure they won't mind. Overall, the code will appear just like the original on the page. Its just a way to get it to display.
If I were you, I would just do it and not worry too much.
After all, you are not trying to cheat and thats what they want to prevent with these rules.
