Can I register for multiple adwords account?. I need 2nd account because my current account past performance was poor because I was experimenting. I want to start fresh, new campaigns with my account so that I can reduce PPC cost. Thx!
If you're going to start a new account, you need to make sure you have: 1) new IP 2) new domain 3) new hosting 4) cleared cookies 5) no automatic logins to google You can do it, but it's a bit of work. If Google catches on that you have more than one account, they will ban them both.

Just open a new account and cancel the old one. Google will only ban you if you use more than one account without their knowing. If you have more than one account, you have to tell Google, so that they can merge the accounts. This prevents people from monopolising keywords. You do not have to do anything that SpringValley mentioned, unless you plan on using more than one account illegally. So, simply cancel your current account, open the new one and only use that. However, before you do, figure out why your current account got slapped. Otherwise, your new account will almost certainly get slapped, too.
Google are pretty good about this topic, I opened a new account with the same card details as the previous, they emailed me and I asked them to close the existing account & set the new one up (in USD rather than GBP).
